FEST

The Association “Film XXI” presents Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF). This is the only international feature film festival in Romania. TIFF has as its main objective the promotion of cinematographic art by presenting some of the most innovative and spectacular films of the moment that feature both originality and independence of expression, that reflect unusual cinematic language forms or focus on current trends in youth culture. It is meant to be an annual event.

The seven edition of TIFF will be held between the 26th of May and 8th of June, 2008 in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania. The films will be shown in three venues and, whenever possible, each will be screened twice.

WORK: The volunteers will help the Festival team in guest department (make the badges and explain how they work, show materials from the guest-pack to guests and show them the map and the main festival venues), technical department, promoting department and special events department, PR department.

The volunteers will inform the audience about what/where/how to see films during the festival; they will work with the PR dept. for announcing dates/info about films from festival (posters, checking if cinemas have announced right times & dates), they will promote activities - spreading flyers & programs in town (outdoor and indoor).
