LOCATION: Clansayes (500 inhabitants) is located in South Drôme, at the broder with Provence. 20 km away from Montélimar and 5 km away from St Paul 3 Châteaux. The village has many traces of a rich past (see pictures). Be open, the inhabitants love to welcome the volunteers !!! Be careful, no shops and no public transportation !!
TERMINAL: MONTELIMAR
WORK: Supervised by local volunteers, you will participate in the rehabilitation of the access path to the chapel Toronne. Regularly used by tourists and pilgrims, this pretty fairly steep path is gradually degraded. You will perform various work : clearing, you will help to create logs steps, stabilization of dry stone walls dry stone work ... for 5 hours in the morning, five days a week. PHYSICAL WORK! you have to walk 1km to access the construction site and carry heavy loads! During the weekend of July 27 and 28, you will also participate in the l village feast and local volunteers will help with the installation of animations.
ACCOMODATION: In a municipal building, in the heart of this lovely traditional village ! Mattresses, Kitchen and WC available. Showers close to the sleeping place. Meals will be prepared by volunteers, in teams of 2. JR provides you with small mattresses but please, TAKE YOUR BEDSHEETS AND SLLEPING BAG. We can not take care of you if you arrive before the beginning of the workcamp.
