Work: Volunteers will work in public parks, children playgrounds and gardens in 12 different districts in Burhaniye. They are supposed to work in gardening and cleaning of parks, planting trees, sowing flower seeds, mowing lawns, etc. The volunteer group will have a good time while creating a better environment for children and local people, who are ready to receive them with open arms in Balikesir. The group will also visit historical and touristic places of Balikesir in the leisure time.

Location: Burhaniye is a province, which has coastline on both the Aegean and Marmara Seas. It is located in the northwest of Turkey and has many transportation alternatives from Ankara, Bursa, Izmir or Istanbul; by railway or highway. The city is still reflecting the heritage of Byzantine, Ottoman and early Republic of Turkey's history. Burhaniye was previously named Kemer, meaning aqueduct, which comes from ancient Roman aqueduct ruins in Burhaniye. Turkish baths and mosques are still open to visitors.
