Work: The volunteers will be given some environmental and social work in this camp. They will be engaged in cleaning and arranging some public parks and gardens in Odemis district. Besides, they will visit elderly people in nursing home. Leisure time activities can be excursions, visits to historical places and fishing in a lake nearby.

Location: Odemis is located in the Aegean region, 111 km from Izmir. It is the most populated district of Izmir. Odemis is famous for its potatoes, olives, figs and kebabs. The villages belonging to the town have their legacies as well. The villages of Bademli and Birge (wise) have original historic houses. Birge has been on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list since 1994. The oldest signs of civilization in Odemis are the 13.000 year old sketches on the walls in a cave. Since then, many civilizations including the Hittites, Phrygians, Persians and Greeks have inhabited the area. This camp will be the one that fulfills the expectations who are willing to explore history and culture in Anatolia.
