Descripción:
The volunteers will work with local children and disabled people and also to do some environmental work. The volunteers will organize outdoor activities for children at the local playground and also practice and perform a puppet theatre show for them. The volunteers will also assist in environmental work around the parks in Pori and help with removing invasive species of weed such as Impatiens glandulifera (better known in English as Himalayan Balsam ). During leisure time, volunteers have possibilities for various kinds of sports and cultural activities.
The volunteers will be accommodated in Vainola Community Center. They will prepare their food together in Vainola.
Pori is located on the west coast of Finland, and the distance to Helsinki is 250 kilometers. More information from: www.pori.fi
