Project: La Crche is a small town which has already hosted multiple international workcamps. The community wants to repeat this experience and continue the restoration of its local heritage sites. The town recently reconstructed the pedestrian hiking path that surrounds it and now they want to enlist volunteers to work towards its beautification. Work: Volunteers will assist with the restoration of the fence and dry stones (unmortared) located at the entrance of this path. They will first disassemble the fence and then rebuild it, all while respecting ancestral methods and traditional techniques. Leisure activities: The community regularly organizes local events, excursions, and visits to la Rochelle activities which will be open to volunteers. Volunteers will also be invited to participate in the celebrations of the national holiday on the 14th of July.
