Descripción:
The work will be to assist in organising a local childrens camp. The volunteers will work as camp instructors, kitchen assistants for the camp cook and as general helpers in order to help run two five day children s camps in Tuusula. The volunteers must be prepared to do different kind of work in various weather conditions. Various summer activities such as swimming, playing games and fishing are possible. In the camp area the local host has many dogs so the volunteers cannot have any animal allergies.
Accommodation for volunteers is in house by the lakeside. Volunteers eat breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner with the kids. (Please note the food comes from camp kitchen possibilities are to have vegetarian food but no multi-allergic diets.) During the break between the two children s camp volunteers can cook together in the house.
Tuusula is a municipality located in Southern Finland. It belongs to the Helsinki sub-region and has a population of population of circa 37,000.
Special remarks: The volunteers need to take a travel insurance for the duration of their stay. Volunteers will need to bring with them a copy of CGC (criminal record) and have it enclosed with their camp application when applying.
