Descripción:
Your main task will be renovation works in the building. Here are accommodated homeless people and people with fewer opportunities. You will clean and paint free rooms. It is possible that you will also renovate and decorate other rooms of the building, e.g. the community room. Another task will be various maintenance works outside. It is appreciated if you will be open-minded and flexible to do whatever task has to be done in and outside of the house.
You will live in a hostel.
Your project will take place in a new housing estate in the eastern part of Berlin. Its construction was part of a large government-run housing project in the former GDR during the 1970s. Small villages surround this borough. You can easily reach the city centre and other leisure facilities like cinemas, shopping centres, pubs, sports halls and youth clubs by means of public transport. But it takes you some time to get to the real city of Berlin
