Location: SOS Children’s village, Ijevan
This year the camp in SOS Children’s village is organized for the 4th time. It is situated in the region of Tavush (143 km from Yerevan).
The SOS Children’s Village is a place where children – particularly those who have no parental care and those whose families have to live in difficult conditions – have found their new mothers, sisters and brothers and live in families. 6-7 children live in separate cottages with their SOS mothers.
SOS Children’s village in Armenia is built and financed by SOS-Kinderdorf international non-governmental social development organization.
The SOS Children's Village family-like structure is formed by four basic principles: mother, brothers and sisters, house and village.
