Hosting organization: Charitable Public Association “World Without Borders” began its activity in 2000. The main goals and objectives of the organization are to render a comprehensive aid and support for children with physical and mental disabilities and adolescents in conflict with law (including the inmates of the institutions of a closed type), their families. An important line of activity is attraction of attention of state and social organizations to problems of children and teenagers of these categories, assisting in development and implementation of nationwide and regional programs aimed at improving living conditions of children and youth.
Work: Two weeks workcamp is designed to let the volunteers be a part of the summer activities for both of WWB’s target groups.
1 week. Work in the summer camp for boys in Mahilieŭ special closed type school. The volunteers will be accompanied by Belarusian volunteers and together as a team they will spend 5 days with the boys. The boys in the closed type school are from 11 to 15 years old. The first week of the camp is strictly alcohol and tobacco free.
Proposed activities:
to communicate with the children (the most important!)
to hold various creative contests and cultural activities (bring your ideas)
to hold sport competitions (they love to play sports, especially football)
to watch movies together
2 week. Work in the summer camp for children and young people with physical and mental disabilities in a country house in Ratamka. The volunteers will be accompanied by Belarusian volunteers and together as a team they will spend 5 days in the country house.
Proposed activities:
to communicate with the children with disabilities (the most important!)
to help the children in everyday life (transportation, taking care)
to hold various creative contests and cultural activities (bring your ideas)
to help the owner of the country house
Transportation: The volunteers will be picked up in Minsk and transferred to the venues of the camp by WWB (two minibuses). All free time transportation costs are not included.

15-19 June – in shared rooms on the territory of Mahilieŭ special closed type school.

Food: The food will be provided for the volunteers during the whole period of stay. However, they have to cook their own meals together with other volunteers as a part of the team.
