Project: Montero is the capital city of the Obispo Santisteban province in the Santa Cruz department. The project aims at improving the quality of public health services in the city.
Work: Several tasks will be achieved by the national and international volunteers participating to the project. They will plant 15.000 ornamental flowers and plants to design and improve the gardens of 9 hospitals and health centres, will improve the vegetable garden of the Municipal Senior centre "galibvbp@hotmail.comsupport the Cuban Medical Brigade during a Health Fair on activities related to AIDS prevention. The quantity of work will be important.
Accommodation: The volunteers will be accommodated in the Senior centre "Gran Poder" where they will also partially work. All the common facilities in the Bolivian standards will be available.
Language: Spanish mainly. The workcamp coordinators will also be able to communicate in
English.
