Jecheon(http://goo.gl/LI67Ca) is about 200 km away from Seoul and famous with beautiful mountains around. There are a few social issues in Jecheon regarding of empowering youth, caring disabled people and dealing with the aging society. Host organization had been worked in long time to solve this. Therefore, Participants will take part in two projects for ‘youth and a local elder’ during a project. Participants will join in the youth camp which is to develop the global competencies of local youth by bringing a dynamic international culture and programmes. Participant will also help physically and economically disadvantaged local elders by making better living condition. In addition, there will be cultural exchange with local people.
Work: As an assistant of youth camp, participants will organize and run the activities related with their own cultures such as languages, traditional dance and games, song and so on. Participants will also do mural painting to decorate a local village and maintain houses and facilities for the elder who are disadvantaged physically and economically.
Accommodation and food: In the community center / Self-catering within a group
Leisure Activities: Visiting historic place in Jecheon.
