Descripción:
The work in this camp will be renovating and cleaning the surroundings of Youth Center Vasatokka and Lake Kettujarvi, helping to build the beach volleyball fields and picking berries. In the neighborhood there are husky- and horse farms, so volunteers might also work in these places. During leisure time there are various possibilities for summer activities such as fishing, exploring the beautiful Lappish nature, swimming and sauna, playing games, and canoeing.
The volunteers will be accommodated in the dormitory rooms with a shared kitchen, shower and toilet. They will prepare meals together.
Youth Center Vasatokka is located in the municipality of Inari, in Finnish Lapland, near Lake Muddusjarvi. The area is barren, mostly dry pine forest with lakes, rivers and nice sceneries of arctic hills.
