Descripción:
The work in this camp will be building beach volleyball fields, repairing and building constructions of program services e.g. marking nature trails and skiing tracks, and picking berries. During leisure time there are various possibilities for summer activities such as fishing, exploring the beautiful Lappish nature, swimming, playing games, going to sauna and canoeing.
The volunteers will be accommodated in the dormitory rooms with a shared kitchen, shower and toilets. They will prepare meals themselves (camp host will arrange the supplies). For more information: www.vasatokka.fi
Youth center Vasatokka is located in the municipality of Inari, in Finnish Lapland, near Lake Muddusjarvi. The area is barren, mostly dry pine forest with lakes, rivers and nice sceneries from arctic hills.
The volunteers need travel insurance for the duration of their stay
