WORK: Supervised by volunteers of the association, you will participate in maintenance of aquatic spaces of the Vallon. You will help to rehabilitate parts of a channel (cleaning, land stabilization, reconstruction of small dams) and to clear the river bed (cleaning and leveling) to facilitate the flow. Work 4 horus  work day, 5 days a week.

ACCOMODATION: You will be hosted on the site, in very simple conditions ! Dry toilets, solar showers outdoor, kitchen under tent and sleeping on small mattresses under tents. In case of heavy rain or storm, you can go in some shelter to be protected. Jeunesse et Reconstruction provides you with small ground mattresses but don’t forget your bed sheet and sleeping bag. You will take part in the preparation of meals and the cleaning of your living space. We cannot take care of you if you arrive before the starting date of the camp.

LOCATION: The city of Die is located in the South East of France, in the Southern Alps, just at feet of the Vercors mountains and by the river Drôme. Die and its valley are dominted by the Glandasse mountain (high 2041 m). Die is located around 60 km from valence (1hour) and the small valley of Chapias is 3 km from the city of Die. During this camp, you will have the opportunity to visit Die, and maybe Valence, and xhy not the famous vineyards of Clairette de Die (bubble wine, really appreciated in the region). With the members of Le Petit Chapiat, you will also try to get a ride with sled dogs, to hike in the forest, and if the weather is nice, you can bath at the river ! BE CAREFUL: This camp is really for people who love to live in the nature in very simple conditions !!!!

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: LIVING CONDITIONS DURING THE CAMP WILL BE VERY SIMPLE 1/ Not being afraid of dogs !!! mushers are living on the camp. Living conditions are very simple: dry toilets, solar showers and tents !
