WORK: You will contribute to the development of the Chaussenac’s church. This church is quite original compared to the traditional catholic churches, since it’s richly decorated and greatly coloured. Years ago, the naves were restored. The altar and the altarpiece were also restored by the famous Catherine Burgues in 2006. The municipality wants to continue the preservation works of the church which attracts tourists. Under supervision of a municipal worker, you will develop the church: inside and outside. Inside, in the steeple: cleaning, redoing of the wooden stairs. Outside: little masonry works: re-plastering, cleaning of the cross, and painting of the railings. You will work 5 hours per day and 5 days per week. WARNING: not for those suffering from vertigo.
ACCOMODATION: You will be accommodated under tents on the sport ground. Bathroom in the locker rooms. Mattresses and tents provided by our association.
