You will restore the walls of the church enclosure. Using traditional masonry techniques, you will consolidate damaged areas and rebuild destroyed areas to preserve heritage and keep the history of the village alive.
You will have a tented accommodation with sanitary, kitchen and collective living room where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. You will share the different collective tasks and prepare the meals together. A budget will be allocated to the camp leaders and you will participate in the shopping and the preparation of the meals, by using healthy and local products.
Saint-Pé-Saint-Simon is a commune in the south-west of France, located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne. The town is bordering the departments of Gers and Landes, it benefits from the mixture of these three departments, a very diverse landscape, a very pleasant climate and its famous local gastronomy. You will be able to find several hiking trails that cross the different monuments of the region and places to taste the local products. There is also a possibility of plunging into the ocean.
Bring a sleeping bag, work clothes, work shoes, warm clothes and rain gear, a flashlight, a swimsuit and sunscreen.
