You will continue the renovation of two facades of the “House of associations”, an old bourgeois stone building. For this, you will have to work on scaffolding (a temporary structure of metal and wooden boards which helps construction workers to do their work). Your first job will be to remove the existing plaster covering the walls after which you will apply a new coating of lime plaster tinted with natural pigments.
You will be accommodated in tents in the city center with all necessary facilities available. You will have access to a room for cooking and for collective activities. The park nearby will provide you with opportunities to enjoy your free time out in the sun. The group will be sharing the cleaning chores and the preparation of meals.

This region, which is well-known for its vineyards, is situated between the Garonne and the Dordogne. South from this place are Marmande and Langon, Bordeaux to the west, Libourne in the north, and Bergerac in the east. You will be charmed by the ancient sites, the mills and the castles of Latresne.
Please bring a sleeping bag, work clothes, walking shoes, warm clothes and rain gear, a flashlight, a swimsuit and sun cream.
Foreigners from the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card). Everybody must, in any case, bring their health insurance certificate. If any health issues occur during the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.
