WORK: Your group will be divided into 2 teams every day to be able to work on the two sites at once. Supervised by many local volunteers, teams will shift so that everyone can participate in various missions! In the town of Saint-Didier au Mont La Roche, you will perform masonry work to renovate a wall, according to the traditional technique of dry stone, you will also help brush and clean a pond on the site. You will be working on Limonest Battery Quarries: masonry with lime on a scarp and clearing of a path. Finally you also work in the Fort Dardilly to cleaning (removal of internal parts) and maintenance of woodwork. Attention! Physical work, 5h per day, 5 days a week. You will be required to wear these heavy loads!
ACCOMODATION: You will stay in the town of Limonest which will provide your group throughout the stay a sport hall. Showers, toilets and kitchen on site. Sleeping on mattresses on the floor, provided by Jeunesse et Reconstruction. Remember to bring a sleeping bag and towel! Volunteers will conduct themselves meals per team 2. We can not assume if you arrive before the starting date of construction.
