The city of Lacaze hosts this summer its first international workcamp to assist in the improvement of the life of the town. The mayor wants to host an international workcamp to implement concrete actions to improve the living environment and integrate volunteers into local life, especially during the festival organized by the "Friends of the Castle of Lacaze ’association. Residents and local youth you a warm welcome and wish rich exchanges and sharing with you.

Supervised by employees of the town, you will participate in the improvement of the entrance to the village by restoration of local heritage, cleaning and landscaping. This involve to repai the walls and stairs (up walls with new stones, cleaning, clearing, ...). Finally, you will make the entrance more welcoming by various landscaping village.
accomodation and food
You will be accommodated in tents in the camping village. A kitchen and bathroom will be available within the site. Bring your towel and your sleeping bag. The association provides mattresses and tents. We can not take care of you if you arrive before the beginning of construction. Volunteers prepare their own meals, by team of 2.

Lacaze is a small village located in the « Monts de Lacaune », 1h30 from Toulouse, 45 minutes from Albi (Unesco World Heritage) and Castres, near the magnificent site of Sidobre. Between 500 and 800m above sea level, Lacaze invites an attractive green tourism hiking trails on foot, horseback, mountain bike ... A cultural tourism is offered from early May to mid-October, around the castle renaissance during the Summertime alternating exhibitions of painting and sculpture, theater, dance, classical music or current, historical events, cafés philo, conferences, training ...
