Project : This project has been put in place by the Beaumotte Center association and the community of Esprels, regular partner of our projects for the last 5 years. This youth workcamp has become an invaluable part of the summer for the local community. They look forward to this time of year with impatience and can hardly wait to discover your culture and participate in the exchange of their own. Work: You will take part in the renovation of a stone wall in the heart of the village. The wall, 2m high and 14 m in length, started in 2013, will be completely reconstructed by volunteers over the course of three weeks in accordance with traditional techniques of masonry. This workcamp requires no special skills. Leisure activities: The town and its mayor wish to offer a unique experience to the group of volunteers being hosted in Esprels. You will have the chance to visit a good number of tourist attractions in the village and in the region of Franche-Comt with locals. Weather permitting, swimming and hiking will make up part of the program. Notably you will visit the town of Besanon, take part in the national celebration of the 14th of July organised by the community, and organize traditional international meals. Accommodation: indoors, in a local school. You will sleep on cots in a shared room. Bring your sleeping bag. Situation: Esprels is located 20km from Vesoul. Nearest train station: Vesoul
