Project : The project will take place at Lasalle, a commune of Cvennes. The village is lively all year long and hosts approximately 280 events per year. The workcamp will take part in this spirit of activity and local life. Work: The task to be carried out by the group of volunteers is as of yet undetermined. A new community council, which is set to convene in April, will define the terms of the project. However it is certain the task will consist either of the continuation of the workcamp from the previous year, meaning the restoration of dry-stone walls or the maintenance of a nearby waterway. Volunteers will also be asked to provide support from time to time to municipal employees during village celebrations and festivals, assisting either with storage or general clean-up. Leisure activites: Through the project itself, but also through contact with locals, participants will have numerous opportunities to discover local life during this time of local festivals, including a votive celebration and a bowling festival which takes place just beforehand. Accomodation : In tents. The group will use the stadium cloakroom, which will be converted into a living and dining area, and also the stadiums sanitary facilities (showers, bathrooms) Location : Lasalle, a small community of 1100 residents, situated in Cvennes Gardoises, is close to Saint Jean du Gard and Vigan.
