Project : This project has been put in place by the association the Centre of Beaumotte and the community of Bay. The community of Bay includes 122 residents. It is found in the district of Marnay in the region of Haute-Sane. After several years observing workcamps in nearby towns, Bay has decided to host one personally. The community and the local association feel ready to take on this project. Work: You will take part in the renovation of a stone wall in the heart of the village. This project will consist of the restoration of the surrounding wall of the cemetery on its western face (around 30m in length) and its southern face (around 45m in length). This years workcamp will focus specifically on the western section of the wall. Leisure activities: The town and its mayor wish to offer a unique experience to the group of volunteers being hosted in Bay. You will have the chance to visit a good number of tourist attractions with local people in the village and in the region of Franche-Comt. Weather permitting, swimming and hiking will make up part of the program. Notably you will visit the town of Besanon, take part in the national celebration of the 15th of Agust organised by the community, and organize traditional international meals.
