Project: The municipality of Pouilly-sous-Charlieu has organized workcamps for many years and once again it welcomes volunteers to help with the renovation of its cultural heritage. Work: You will be working on the construction of a stone wall along one of the village paths, and on the renovation of the fences and the gates of an old school where you will be hosted during the workcamp, and which is usually a youth center. You will also build a wood fence around an old area called The Idlers' Cross which is located near the Loire river and the old village harbor. Leisure activities: The area is very eventful in the summertime. This project will allow you to meet people from all over the world and from various regions of France, to get to know the rural French way of life, and to visit nearby cities (e.g. Roanne and Lyon) and tourist attractions.
