Project :
This project is organized by the international hosting center « Centre de Beaumotte » and aims at gathering
youngsters from different countries around a common concrete project. During two weeks, volunteers will be living in
our hosting center and will work on a sustainable project.
Objectives :
· Realization of a common work
· Social learning (accommodation and group life)
· Discovering of the local community and the region
· International and intercultural meetings
· Integration of local yougsters in activities of general interest
Work :
The workcamp will be based on 2 workshops :
· You will build a 4-compartment composter. You will install the framework with rafters, put up partitions and nail
the cladding structure.
· You will also renovate a small wooden cabin that is used for recycling glass and plastic. You will clean the
cabin, fix the boards and build shelves.
Leisure activities :
You will work 4 hours a day, in the morning. During the afternoon, some activities will be organized
in order for the group to get to know each other better and to do intercultural games. You will have the possibility to
discover the Franche-Comté region thanks to several cultural visits (Besançon, the hedgehog waterfall and the Loue
spring).
Accommodation :
You will be hosted in the premises of the Centre de
Beaumotte. Please bring a sleeping bag.
Location : Beaumotte is located 25 km away from Besançon and Vesoul.
Closest train station : Besançon Franche-Comté TGV.
Participation fee : 150 €
