Project: The town of La Ferté-Alais, located in the south from Paris, has organised international workcamps for many years. International workcamps have become important moments in the life of the town. This year La Ferté-Alais has even decided to organise a second workcamp which will work on the renovation of stairs near the middle school.
Work: The town aims at renovating the stairs in order to make a better access for the pupils to the middle school. In collaboration with the technical services of the town, you will renovate the steps of the stairs and fill them with gravel.
Leisure activities: The town will organise many activities during the workcamp and you will have the opportunity to meet local youths and the local population. You will be able to enjoy the surrounding area which includes a regional natural park called Gâtinais, an educational farm and an aerodrome. You will organise your own collective activities depending on your wishes and the available budget.
Accommodation: In a chalet and in tents in the town campsite. Please bring along a sleeping bag. The necessary material will be provided by the town to have a proper accommodation.
