Location: The camp is located less than 100km away from Thessaloniki, North of Greece (in Gomati, Chalkidiki). It is situated in an aged olive grove with a lot of flowers and vegetation and is surrounded by the gulf of Mount Athos where orthodox monasteries are located
The beach has been awarded with the “Blue Flag of Cleanness” from the E.U. The region has been characterized as Region of special natural beauty by the Ministry of Ecology
Work: Volunteers will participate in daily camp activities. Additionally they are going to accompany children at sport facilities (swimming pool, football/basketball/tennis courts, beach etc). They will be engaged in cultural events which include different thematic nights each time or the projection of films at the new theater (open air cinema)
Lodging: The volunteers will stay in special houses of the camp. Showers and toilets provided.
Meals: Volunteers will have three meals per day as the rest of the campers
Free time: They can use (out of charge) the camp facilities according to the internal regulations of the camp..
Extrafee: 130 euros (paid in advance before arrival)
