The historic city of Larache is situated on the Atlantic coast of Morocco at 92 km in the south of
Tangiers , approximately 107 000 inhabitants. The climate is agreable in summer 27o C.

The liberation square in the center of Larache is very nice :Identical to the plaza Mayor found in most Spanish cities ; the proximity of beautifull beaches make of Larache a touristic attraction.
“Chantiers jeunesse Maroc” will organise a workcamp with collaboration of the commune Sahel,
Commune Sahel is at 11 km to the north of Larache

Nature of the work: The work consists of creating a green space and painting the walls and freoscos in
the commune.
the duration of work is 5 hours a day.
Meals: Meals will be prepared by volunteers.
: Leisure activities
Volunteers will have to setup their own programme of leisure activities.
There are some hints to help you setup this programme.
Larache is on the Atlantic coast. You could enjoy the different beaches of the region.
The roman site of Lixus , the Medina of Larache and the fishing port ,the liberation beach of
Larache city center
You will also have to bring with them working clothes, a sleeping bag, and anything which could contribute to the good progress of the workcamp (game sets musical instruments, cooking recipe, etc….)
This will give you an interesting opportunity to discover cultural reality and habits of the local population.
