Founded in the 9th century and home to the
oldest university in the world, Fez reached its
height in the 13th–14th centuries under the
Marinids, when it replaced Marrakech as the
capital of the kingdom. The urban fabric and the
principal monuments in the medina – madrasas,
fondouks, palaces, residences, mosques and
fountains - date from this period. Although the
political capital of Morocco was transferred to
Rabat in 1912, Fez has retained its status as the
country's cultural and spiritual centre.

15 Moroccan Volunteers (s) and Foreign (s) + 3 leaders

18 Years old and up . No maximum FRENCH, ENGLISH and ARABIC
7. Duration of the Workcamp
Two Weeks : From 01- 08-2015 until 15-8–2015
8- Work in the Project
Environment Work, Cleaning ,Gardening, painting,
Restoration, Construction,Murals & Various Works.
The work is 5H / DAY Monday to Friday
Activities: On Saturday and Sunday the volunteers
organize trips and outings to places in the city and
surrounding area of Sefrou and tours in Fez, music and
Artistic evenings, and roundtable discussions.
9- ACCOMMODATION at the School
Volunteers are taken in Charge, housing and food, every day
two Volunteers will be responsible for the preparation of meals
and Cleaning

50 Euro / Participant
50 Euro will be paid by each volunteer the day of arrival
