Moulay Bousselham is a town in Kenitra Province, according to 2004 census it has a population of 5693 , it is marvelously tranquil for the rest of the year. The sweeping beach with its golden sand is one of the most attractive on the North Atlantic coast. The protected lagoon is one of the contry`s most important bird habitats, attracting twitchers from across the globe.
The town is named after a 10th- century Egyptian saint who is commemorated in one of the koubbas(shrines) that line the slope down to the sea, guarding the mouth of the river.
Moulay Bousselham is 55 km from Ksar el Kebir ,is very low-key ressort ,popular almost excessively with Moroccans, it comprise little more than a single street crowded with grill-cafes and sloping to the sea at the side of a broad lagoon and wetland area known as Merja Zarga.
