This camp will be organized in collaboration with the national Department of Education. Its aim is to improve the looks of the local School Sale is the town which is nearest to Rabat, situated north of the capital from which it’s separated by the Bouregreg River. Indeed, it is a traditional, rather conservative place, where time seems to have stood still. The dress code is a lot tighter than in the neighbouring capital. Although one might be disappointed by many characterless apartment buildings in the outer area, the town’s medina has a lot of narrow alleys with beautiful ancient buildings on each side.

work This camp will be organized in collaboration with the national Department of Education. Its aim is to improve the looks of the local School such as gardens, squares, sports fields, The volunteers, local as well as international, will work together contributing to the maintenance of these places with manual work in- and around public buildings and walls. Working in the outside area, cultivating and creating new gardens is included as well. To make the places more inviting, frescos can be painted on the walls. The district of Sidi Moussa is a quite poor neighborhood, at the houses and living places a lot of manual work or painting can be done. Especially near the sea, there area is quite polluted, and apart from picking up the rubbish, creative ideas to its further. The general organization and responsibility of the workcamp lies with a camp leader who may as well prepare an animation programme for the participants, including the proposition of spare- time activities in the surrounding area.

accomodation and food
The volunteers will share private house near the School with all necessary facilities at their disposal. The food will be prepared by the volunteers themselves in several smaller groups, while each group is going to organize the preparation of all three meals during one fixed day. In order to have a variety of international meals, volunteers are invited to bring recipes from their home countries.

location & leisure
SALE is the nearest tow of Rabat , they are separated by a sea BOURAGRAG , it’s known by it’s monuments and beaches, volunteers will enjoy swimming and visiting those monument and all the shows that are organizing from time to time. The volunteers can organize themselves some musical party , the volunteers that have musical capacities can animate the group from time to time
