Leon city is located in the center of Mexico, it is very well connected by bus and its located very close to big cities such as Mexico city (2 hours), Guadalajara city (3.5 hours), Guanajuato City (1 hours).
Volunteers will help in some institutions where the students of the University make social work with children’s, some of these institutions work with children’s with disabilities and the volunteers will support in the summer activities of the institutions like swimming, cultural, educational and leisure activities with the children’s.
Volunteers will be hosted in a private house with all facilities at disposal: kitchen, hot water, etc. Volunteers will be responsible to cook (please bring snacks and typical recipes from your country to share with the other volunteers!). It is possible to cook vegetarian food (in case you don’t eat meat).
