Project
This project look forward to promote an active and positive lifestyle is for children in the community of Zacatlan to develop physical and mental skills, as well as encourage good behavior and positive habits and values such as: responsibility, respect and trust, seeking to develop character, positive attitude and leadership.
Work
Volunteers together with local youngsters and facilitators will help to organize many activities full of energy such as games with children, football, basketball, singing, dancing, painting, environmental workshops and many more.
They will be fun challenges that we are sure will be energetic for you and the children.
Skills and Certifications
By participating in this project, you will acquire the global skills of Adaptability, Global Awareness, Strategic Thinking and Collaborative Planning, after the participation in the project volunteers will receive an official letter certifying these skills.
Accommodation
Volunteers will be hosted in a private house with all facilities, kitchen, dining room, sleeping rooms, place to wash clothes and hot water, there are no beds so please bring an air mat and sleeping bag.
Location
The camp will be organized in Jicolapa community a nice Mexican town, located in the Municipality of Zacatlán in the State of Puebla. There are 3,151 inhabitants.

Special Requirements
This camp is open for young people who loves nature and children, also who can appreciate the life in a typical Mexican town that is close to many nice and interesting places to visit, this camp will involve physical activities and we request very motivated volunteers!

Leisure time
It is possible to visit nice places like Piedras ensimadas, it knows the Zaatlan surrounding area, as well as the magical towns of Chignahuapan and Tuxpan harbor.

Participation fee
Volunteers will have food and hosting provided during the camp, no participation fee required.
SPECIAL NOTES: For volunteers who are interested to learn Spanish, there will be a Spanish course organized before the project starts, it will be organized in the city of Morelia. Cost: 110 Euros. It includes lodging for 7 days at a Youth Hostel in Morelia city, materials and practice activities for 15 hours with an experienced teacher are included. (Meals are not included).
