Project
The objective of this project is to promote a cultural exchange with local students and organize between international and local volunteers a series of campaigns and workshops to promote values, care of the environment and the importance of the global awareness and education.
Work
The international volunteers will be a fundamental element to carry out campaigns to prevent bullying and promote tolerance, environment and care of nature, as well as the importance of internationalization and mastery of a second or third language as tools for personal growth and building an international cooperation for a better world.
You will have the opportunity to plant trees as a symbol of brotherhood between countries
Skills and Certifications
By participating in this project, you will acquire the global skills of Adaptability, Global Awareness, Strategic Thinking and Collaborative Planning, after the participation in the project volunteers will receive an official letter certifying these skills.
Accommodation
Volunteers will be hosted in a private house with all facilities, kitchen, dining room, sleeping rooms, place to wash clothes and hot water, there are no beds so please bring an air mat and sleeping bag.
Location
The camp will be organized in Leon City, a very dynamic city of Mexico famous for its shoes and leather products and industry, with many and interesting activities to do and a very safe and enjoyable environment.

This camp is open for young people who loves the interaction with other youngsters and is ready to have a wonderful cultural exchange leaving a mark and friendships that will last forever! Be prepared to realize indoor and outdoor activities!

Leisure time
You can visit different touristic spots from the surroundings of Leon such as: Science Center, Explora Park, Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato, Plaza de los Martires, Dos de Enero, Leon Zoo, Metropolitan Park, downtown of Leon, Zona Piel, Expo Bicentenario de Mexico.

Participation fee
Volunteers will have food and hosting provided during the camp, no participation fee required.
SPECIAL NOTES: For volunteers who are interested to learn Spanish, there will be a Spanish course organized before the project starts, it will be organized in the city of Morelia. Cost: 110 Euros. It includes lodging for 7 days at a Youth Hostel in Morelia city, materials and practice activities for 15 hours with an experienced teacher are included. (Meals are not included).
