THE PROJECT
The project will develop in the archaeological zone of Chan Chan, recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage and World Heritage in Danger since November 1986. during the project volunteers will perform three specific actions: Conservation, Protection and Defense and Educational.
ACTIVITIES
The project aims to raise awareness through campaigns and actions involving all stakeholders (authorities, community, children and youth, media) of the conservation of the World Heritage site. The active participation of local and international volunteers, for the recovery of the heritage of Chan Chan - working in the field, using techniques of ancient working tools. In addition, the project aims to strengthen and involve locals groups of volunteers and students (especially engaged in the custody of monumental heritage Chan Chan) in the heritage conservation of Chan Chan.

ACCOMODATION
Volunteers will stay in a house in the city with basic services. It is important to mention that every volunteer should bring a sleeping bag.
LOCATION
Trujillo, City of Eternal Spring. Located in the northeastern part of Peru, is the capital of La Libertad department at a distance of 580 km
LENGUAGE : English, but it will be more useful to have basic Spanish
PROJECT COST
770 Nuevos Soles This payment made by the volunteers will cover the costs of lodging and food, as well as operational and administrative costs of the project.
