PROJECT
The project will develop an approach and experiential knowledge of rural life in the Andes of Peru. During the development of the project volunteers will be in permanent contact with the Andean geography and demography, developing community work together with the residents of the area, and young children's school and work in the Cangallo community.
OBJECTIVE:
Get to know in a experiential way the livelihoods of Andean communities in Peru, living and sharing with these people will understand the richness of Peruvian people within its cultural and geographical context.
ACTIVITIES
Volunteers will run activities with school children in the community related to the culture and environment through playful actions, drawing and painting, murals, theater, banner placement in strategic locations in the community etc. ..
- Workshops: English classes for children of the community, and to learn the native language of Peru Quechua
- communal activities (work together with residents of the area)
- learn traditional dances of the region
- Learn to cook typical dishes of the region.
LOCATION
Cangallo is a peasant province created by law, the town is currently organized to develop activities for environmental conservation, visits schools and different workshops.
It is in the same province CANGALLO, (city with basic services).

ACCOMMODATION
Volunteers coexist with cangallinos residents and will be hosted in the houses in the rural community, these homes have some basic amenities, but it will be rewarding to live with the customs and cultures of the people of the community.
PARTICIPATION FEE: 200 euros, will cover the costs of accommodation and food, as well as operational and administrative costs of the project.
