This project is carried out by the Brigada de Voluntarios Bolivarianos del Peru, Pucallpa subsidiary, with knowledge of the District Municipality of Campo Verde (In the Jungle of Peru) . The objectives of this project are to embellish the community, through reforestation with ornamental plants, as well as to improve the quality of life for residents. The District of Campo Verde is located 34 km. from the city of Pucallpa, at around 30 minutes by car, and has a population of 5000 inhabitants.
WORK
The volunteers will do the staking, pitting and planting seedlings of the Tahuari yellow (Tabebuia serratifolia) variety 10 km either side of the road Federico Basadre, passing through the town of Campo Verde and support in the reforestation of squares and parks of the city. They may also make presentations of their countries and mini workshops about environmental protection in local schools of Campo Verde.

ACCOMMODATION:
Volunteers will stay in a house in the community. It is important to mention that every volunteer should bring a sleeping bag and if it is possible an air bed and/or a rubber one.

€ 200 Euros This fee will cover the costs of lodging and food, as well as operational and administrative costs of the project
