Volunteers will help the staff of the park in their work of the maintenance of the monuments of the wooden architecture. Chapels of Kenozero are truly legendary. All the chapels are in the need of regular maintenance: repairing of the stairs or cleaning of the roof and walls from moss and lichen or mowing the grass nearby. You will have the amazing opportunity to help the staff of the park to preserve the real treasure i these unique chapels.
Guest house with two bedrooms, kitchen-dining room. The house is on the bank of the lake Kenozero. 2-3 times a week i Russian banya (sauna). The food will be prepared by the volunteers on the cooker. Vegetarian food is possible.
Excursion on the motor ship on the water area of the park; Walking in the ancient villages of Kenozero, meeting locals;Visiting the ecological path Tarasova borovina ;Visiting of the Pochozersky churchyard i one of the five remaining architectural tree-piece ensembles; Workshops on folk trades and crafts (birch bark, clay, ceremonial dolls).
Vaccination against encephalitis is advisable.
