Partner organization: ProSvet is an ecological out door project of ProOthody coalition, which works for promoting separate waste collection in Russia and recycling. Last year this camp took place on the bay of the Baltic Sea and joined together volunteers concerned about ecological issues and willing to make a change by acting on a local level, like cleaning lakes and forests from the illegal trash dumps. 81 people have become participants of the camp: volunteers from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Finland and Sweden.

Location: This year the camp will take place at the lake in a village Toksovo, which is 20 km away from St. Petersburg.
Work: cleaning of the forest and lakesides from trash, liquidation of illegal dumps. Volunteers will also prepare and set propaganda board and information posters on the cleaned-up territory. We will be organizing educational program on the topic of environmental issues for the participants of the camp.
Accommodation and food: Lodgment will be in tents. Camp cook will provide meals 3 times a day. The food is only vegetarian, but very delicious. You also may buy some grocery in village shops.
Free time activities: There is a possibility to go for sightseeing in St. Petersburg on weekends, since it is situated in 20 km from the camp. In the camp place in a second part of the day after working time we will provide different activities: master-classes, yoga, Russian national games, personal development trainings with professionals, international cultural events. There is a Russian banya in the village.
Requirements: Volunteers have experience in tourism are really welcomed! Please bring working clothes, sleeping bag and tourist carpet, mosquito repellents, swimming suit, raincoat, closed boots, wool sweater and sun hat.
Transportation: 20 min by bus from St. Petersburg.
