Background
When the school vacation is the properly time to renew and fix the material because it can reduce the accident chance to students. Some broken playground, repaint classroom, reorganize the library, etc. can motivate the students to go to school when the school open in the next semester. Also the students who live near the school can come to join in workcamp. It’s nice to see how’s going on with their school is renewing from international volunteers.
Working
Volunteers are expected to work in the school renew and fix the material such as painting, fixing some tables and chairs, cutting glass, improve garden, etc..
Location Peace Village, Kok Muang, Khlonghoikhong, Songkhla. 20 kms in countryside from Hat Yai city.
Accomodation and food
Volunteers stay at Peace Village, the InterCutual and language Learning Center in Songkhla. Volunteers will stay at the open air dormitory. Mattress and mosquitoes net are provided. Volunteers take turn to cook Thai food, you are expected to bring your ingredients from your hometown for cultural exchange.
