Work: Summer 2014 a big flood disaster affected Tekirdag district. All the municipalities in the district have been working on recovery of the green areas beside flood relief projects. Our partner Suleymanpasa Municipality has the largest green area and biggest public parks in the district therefore it is important for them to receive international solidarity during recovery process. Volunteers will work in public parks and they will be planting roses, gardening and cleaning vegetation in parks.

Location and Leisure: Suleymanpasa is a planned district and second level municipality in Tekirdag Province, Turkey. It is located in the northern part of the Sea of Marmara. The Thracian breeze in Suleymanpasa has a unique touch. The town still protects its historical building structure in most places. Most of the city's Ottoman wooden buildings have been replaced by concrete apartment blocks, but some are being restored or replaced with attractive houses in the traditional style.
