Work: Volunteers will be given some environmental and renovation work. Landscaping, gardening and mounting park benches will be some of the working areas. There will be excursions for touristic and natural sites in the region.

Location: Afyonkarahisar is located at the intersection of three regions: Aegean, Mediterranean and Central Anatolian Regions. The history of the city goes back to 4000 BC. The city is most known for the Phyrgian Valley, spa facilities and Turkish delight. There are also some fairy chimneys and thermal foundations which attract many tourists every year as well as the Mevlevihane (a lodge by Mevlevi dervishes) which became a museum recently. The city is also a member of "Association of Historic Towns in Turkey".
