Work: The volunteers will participate to several environmental works such as cleaning or landscaping public parks and gardens. On weekends, there will be trips to small touristic towns in the neighborhood and to Ankara, the capital of Turkey.

Location: Ayas is a town of Ankara in the Central Anatolia region, 58 km from the city centre. The town is very rich for historical monuments and thermal premises. Ayas is known for its mulberry trees, tasty tomatoes and healing mineral water spas, both for drinking and bathing. There is an annual tomato festival in the town of Ayas, held at the end of August. The historic background of the town has almost same touches just like the rest of Anatolia. The identity of Ayas has been shaped upon different cultures as well as its memories and structures. The volunteers will find a chance to see the harmony of the cultures.
