Work: Ayvalik Municipality continues the “Zeytin Cekirdekleri Project” for 2 years. The project basically aims to reach young people by using art. In this regard, children between 10 to 16 years old learn playing instrument, painting and other creative arts. During the camp, volunteers’ task will be helping children to practice English and improve their language skills, art and games will be their tool. At the end of the camp, with the help of the trainers, volunteers and participants will prepare an event and perform what they have created together.

Accommodation and Food: You will stay in tents. The camp is sited near the Zeytin Cekirdegi Center, during the camp you will use facilities of the centre. The food will be prepared by the group.
Location and Leisure: Ayvalik is a seaside town on the northwestern of Turkey and it is a well-known touristic area. The town has a great reputation its environment especially with olive oils. Hence, Ayvalik also has two of the longest sandy beaches of Turkey which extend as far as the Dikili district of İzmir nearly 30 km to the south. These are the Sarimsakli and Altinova beaches. In recent years, Ayvalik has also become an important point of attraction for scuba divers with its underwater fauna. In your leisure times, you will visit all the important places in Ayvalik and some of near islands such as Cunda.
